At glance, we confess that the vibrant color of this Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel II series is pretty catchy. Then, we also agree that these pots not bad at all properties. The porcelain enameled cookware is a good alternative for having a budget gear in much lower price and Rachael Ray, the TV celeb chef, does have remarkable products. Talking about the performance, it surpasses our expectation---totally nonstick, quick and good heat distribution. So to speak, it does better than some pricier products in good heat distribution on gas and electric stoves. Like other porcelain enamel, it’s oven-safe up to 350 degree F, which is pretty limited for some kinds of recipes but enough for many home meals. The overall construction is acceptable. It’s light but still feels sturdy enough in hand, not trashy. To be honest, it’s not quite heavy-duty like a professional set, but it’s substantial for satisfying everyday cooking. The relatively lightweight may be a preferred by those with arthritis or who want not-break-the-arm pots. The colored silicone handles are soft and good ergonomic, as well as stay cool when cooking. The glass lids fit snugly and feel sturdy. The size suits for an essential gear for beginners, bachelors or new couples. Probably one of the best parts is the appearance. We really love the vigorous vibrant color; the darker color fades to the bright shade, which adds more beautiful and fun in the kitchen. The big downside is not dishwasher-safe, but most users agreed for very easy to clean by hand washing. Moreover, like other budget nonstick, it needs more care properly, as manufacturer’s instructed---no metal utensils, no scratchy rub, no nonstick spray, no burning on glass/induction stoves and no high heat cooking.
